3D Image Commander is a cute small application that allows you to add creative styles and effects to your thumbnails. You will be able to apply amazing perspective tweaks and add shadows, frames, reflections, etc., to your favorite images. Probably one of its main assets is its simplicity, and its “free camera” functionality is just one example of it - this feature allows you to rotate and twist your thumbnails just by moving your mouse in the desired direction.

The features available are certainly limited, but they will cover most (if not all) of the three-dimensional effects a small thumbnail can carry. The effects covered refer to the level of transparency of the background, some basic 3D transformations (rotation, curving, and scale), the frame of the image, the glow around that frame, a very realistic reflection effect that appears beneath the original photograph, and a shadow. Together with all of these features you will find a useful cropping tool. All these effects and utilities allow for a limited level of parametrization, in line with the simplicity sought by its developers. Despite its easiness of use, all the available features produce a high quality output, which is also one of its assets.

Finally, it is important to note that due to the list of formats supported (BMP, JPG, TIFF, etc.), you may as well use this application as a simple image converter, as you can easily save any of your thumbnails into any of the formats allowed.

I purchased Videoshow Expressions a few months ago. I had it on my laptop and then my hardrive crashed (not because of this program). It worked great on that computer and I was very happy with the program. Then I bought a new laptop and installed Videoshow Expressions on it. Since then, I cannot use the Burn option, so I cannot burn any DVD's anymore. I also just purchased a video camera that has an SD memory card that records in MP4 formats. I CANNOT get the Videoshow Expressions program to open ANY of my videos from the card. I have tried the ArcSoft converter, I downloaded a converter from the internet also. I finally got one format to work and convert my video to a format that Videoshow Expressions will recongnize but the video quality is so poor it's not worth watching.
